Vineyard

The picturesque Torr Vineyard located at Pisa was established in 2003. It consists of 13HA of gentle sloping land combined with two terraces overlooking Lake Dunstan. Riesling plantings are from German clones 198/19 and GM110, and are situated mid-terrace. There are 4,000 vines per hectare all fully grafted and low yielding. Torr Vineyard is registered under the sustainable winegrowing management standards.

Winemaking

Harvested on the 5th May, 2016. Fully botrytised @ 40 brix. 24 hours skin contact to extract sugars and flavours. Indigenous long ferment to 186 gr/l residual sugar and bottled at the beginning of August 2016.
